BURGERS
2 pounds ground pork
1 pound ground turkey
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons oregano - dried
2 teaspoons ground cumin
Optional: Sliced cheese, such as Pepper Jack, Cheddar, or American
CHIPOTLE MAYO
1 cup mayonnaise - regular, no fat or low fat
2 teaspoons minced canned chipotles in adobo sauce (adjust to amount of heat
wanted)
1 tablespoon adobo sauce from can
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
season with a little salt
Directions
* Mix all burger ingredients together (except optional cheese).
* Divide into 8 equal portions and shape into patties.
* Heat grill to medium high. Oil grates.
* Place patties on grill. Cover grill and cook until centers are no longer pink.
* Optional: Place a slice of cheese on top of each patty when close to being
done.
* Serve with chipotle mayonnaise and grilled onions.
* Chipotle Mayo: Combine all ingredients. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
